I was playing multiplayer with a friend, my main character entered a conversation with an NPC and then I swapped to control my ally so I could attempt a pickpocket on another NPC. Meanwhile my friend listened in on the conversation. Before I attempted the pickpocket I returned to my main character only to discover the conversation options had vanished. I could select trade, fight and switch character but I couldn't select any conversation options and I couldn't leave the conversation. My friend was able to vote on a dialog choice but it wouldn't go through, the characters were all locked in conversation and could not leave.
