Use Heat Metal or Disarm on Anders in the Tollhouse and he will drop the Sword he is holding but still have a second one in inventory.

Remember you can pass the Sword of Justice amongst your crew to put Tyr's Protection on all your little companions. Now you have two!

It would probably also work on Bernard in the ruined tower for two 'Light of Creation' halberds but I failed my disarm attempts and didn't want to reload to check.

It does not as the gnoll boss is using the 'Chaos Flail so she/he is not able to be disarmed. I tried 18 straight hits (several reloads) with the battlemaster disarm without it disarming. Regardless the shattered flail is way better anyways but not as cool. The only way to get that weapon afaik is to exploit Glut to the surface, rez the gnoll and have them throw the weapon to the ground.

I bravely battlemaster yeeted him out the window and had to elevator down to finish him with 2 disarm hits but unsuccessful attempts. Too much of a pita to keep retrying.

Brave Sir Robin ran away.
("No!")
Bravely ran away away.
("I didn't!")
When danger reared it's ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
("I never!")
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.
("You're lying!")
Swiftly taking to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin!

Check your combat logs - I have seen one description of it as 1d10+5 bludgeoning + 4d10 psychic. Which is about what it hit one of my characters for on my last encounter.
