I did Abdiraks pennance and got the buff Loviatars Love. SInce then, I rested a few times, but the buff is still there. I find it strange, I don't think, that it was meant to be permanent? What do you think?

It is permanent on my character and super useful. Although, I'm not sure what my Cleric's goddess thinks about the whole deal. =-)

Yeah, that could be a real game breaker as a cleric. Depending on the sort of cleric, I 'd play, I probably would tell Abdirak to shove it. Loviatar is an evil goddess after all.
I was wondering, if it was intentional, that the blessing is permanent or if that is a bug or something. It is certainly useful.

I think in my Cleric's situation, he bluffed his way into the whole place, pretending to be in league with the Goblins. He'd given his oath not to use the tadpole and broken his promise once already (for good cause, they would've been killed) and been scolded by the party for it. so Abdirak was a bit of a goblin loyalty test. His greater goal was to liberate the prisoners and slaves in the Goblin's lair. Plus, he was somewhat curious about the Lovitari rites.

I think it's permanent buff. a lot of items in the game rely on you to get buff from lowering your HP until a certain percentage.

I think it's permanent buff. a lot of items in the game rely on you to get buff from lowering your HP until a certain percentage. That is true. I have at least three items, I think, that use that mechanic.

The game clearly say "until next rest".
It would be completely stupid to give such a permanent bonus (+2 to attack roll and to ST based on WIZ when you have less than 30%)
All items based on HP are stupid but this specific bonus make sense... right after the event to have it.

While it's bugged, it also means we've no incentive to invite Abdirak to out camp and go to him for repeat sessions later, so, you know, I hope they fix it....

Who knows maybe it will come into play later in the game if you meet other Lovitari.
