Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Stuck right after ritual

So they killed me, and then the Council got killed themselves, and all of a sudden my screen goes black, then I find myself placed outside of the map (in the black somewhere) and I am dead, but I cannot see myself...
Anyone know what is wrong here?

Are you using a no-cd hack?
If so, please put the play disk in the drive, and remove the hack.
You might re-install the game as well, otherwise it won't work.

I am using a no-cd hack, so I guess I will reinstall the game. My cd-rom is really bad and the game is sticking, so I will see how that last part is going to play out if I need to use my cd.

A no-cd hack can not handle the video which is being played at that point.
Don't forget to backup your savegames when you re-install!

Alternatively if you backed up your div.exe, then you should be able to copy over the no-cd hack div.exe.
