You mean Caius Cosades? After you meat him join a faction (e.g. thieves guild, mages guild, fighters guild) and try to leve up and make money. You are too weak for the main quest at the beginning. When youare level 5 to 8 return to Caius Cosades ans speak to him again. He will tell you to investigate a few things. In the beginning you get all main quest missions from him.

In morrowind money is everything. If you have enough gold you can go to the trainers and level up with only a few clicks. Try to always get as much money as possible. trust me, join the warrriors guils, do some quests for them raise money, train, level up. voila!

Forget abou Thor, I gave him a hint, but i won´t tell him a major spoiler. This is definitely the best sword so a character before level 30 should not wield it for balancing issues.

who says i'm not level 30 or better, but i dont want you to spoil the game for me so dont tell me anymore than you already have. also what i did to get to quite a high level is wandering around killing everything you see which isnt an npc. i explored about 2/3 of the map before i joined a guild and then found there quests easy. but to do this you will need some good equipment and the easiest way to get some is to steal it. for example go to ghost gate and steal the whole set of glass armour (not the sword it is aweful) and then steal a nordic clamour and your ready to reep havoc. i think you'll need about level 30 or higher sneak to steal the glass armour (with a few loads!) because the shop keeper is well close to you. hint make sure he's not facing you by standing in front of him and have him say something at you then walk behind him.

Yep! Your skills are divided in tag skills and ordinary skills. This depends on your character class. Tag skills are the 5 major and the 5 minor skills. These skills should be chossen carefully when starting a new character as they will determine your character.

You level up when your tag skills have increased by 10 points. It is equal if e.g. 5 skills where improved by two points or just one skill was improved by 10 points.
You get a message that you shouls sleep when you have reached these 10 points. During the sleep you level up.

If you have further questions, you know where you can find me lews! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

You should do it. All Veteran players do not use the prefabricated character classes but do their own character class. Why?- because then you can choose exactely the 10 skills which you will need most likely in the game.

An Example:

A good warrior type char in my opinion would have:

major skills:

heavy or medium armor
longblade or axe, or blunt weapon
athletic
acrobatic
marksman

minor skills:

speechcraft
restoration
alteration
mysticism
block

all these skills are frequently used by experienced players. All skills with the exception of the 3 magic skills and speechcraft are very easy to increase.

I usually try to do a mix warrior/thief/mage

I use

athletics
long bladfe
security
markmanship
speechcraft
destruction
restoration
arobics
heavy armor

and a random one. uesually.

have you ever beaten the game? if so, what do you do in the end? I don't care spoilers, but others might. i guess...

If you use these skills and level up enough you definitely should have no problems in beating the game.

Of course I finished morrowind, it has a great ending. Believe me it´s worth doing it. However i will not post anything about the ending here. And I don´t want to spoil it for you as well.

Well there is still the back door if you kill Vivec. Betheda has programmed a playable backdoor for all people who want to beat the main quest with a vampire or accidently killed important persons in the game.

The game is indeed huge, but i can assure you it is possible, I visited every single dungeon in the game and i also know the location of every single unique item in the game.

But this is nothing special, if you visit the Morrowind forum you find lots of persons who have the same or even better knowledge of the game.

If you Kill Vivec, he drops a strange dwemer artifact. You can do something with it in order that you can still beat the game.

However, one hast to have a very high level in order to be able to kill vivec. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Well that could be helpful, but believe me I´m much better than the strategy guide. Btw. are you playing on PC or XBox?
