Save as soon as you ghost it over. If you go into the swamp from this side its insta death. If i'd known that before...it'd have saved me hours of re questing.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/alien.gif" alt="" />

Oh, depends on the version. In versions prior to 1.0034 I was dead instantly if I didn't take the shortest way from west to east.
In the last version, I could even get to the tiny isle north of the larger one - the one with a sleeping bag. I had lvl 1 and when my time was up, I just reactivated it. This was the first time I could actually wander over the whole lake and look at everything closely. Kiya

Odd, i went right accross the bottom of map, i went to broken bridges but took damage as soon as i touched the first planks.

True, you get damage if you just stop on the planks instead of taking the grass (land) - but the damage I had was similar to poison damage => my char jerked. I hit the pause button, activated the skill again and then continued wandering. I was very happy about 1.0034 in this case - it had always bothered me that I couldn't explore the whole area.
Just one thing: I got damage on ALL smaller islands, so the one with a camp fire was no safe place - but I had hoped for some goodies <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> (didn't rest there). Kiya

I had lvl 1 and when my time was up, I just reactivated it. You can deactivate Ghost at any time by using the skill again, just like a statuette.

No, I thought you were sitting around as a ghost, twiddlig your thumbs (or whatever that creepy fiend has) waiting for the spell to wear off, when you can turn it off manually.

Bah, nope... I was a wandering spirit and roamed all over the lake. The spell wore off too quickly, but was no prob at 1.0034. In the earlier versions I had the spell active and was killed when I hit the other islands or came to the Black Lake dungeons from north. Kiya

1.0034? my game version is 1.0033a is there a difference? or is german version 34?

There was a potential bug in v1.33 with games started in an earlier version, which could result in maps being reset (so quest opened doors/hatches were resealed). The v1.34 patch fixed this. See Solution for patch and disappearing maps

This patch is from the Larians, CDV didn't finish testing it (politely said) Version 1.0033 had over 13 MB IIRC, 1.0034 only 10.3 MB.

Well, using the links offered by installation i dont get a link to that webpage..well i do actually... but you'd not think to go there looking for a patch, you'd goto www.divinedivinity.com and then to downloads... and thus never find the link..
