Does anyone know that game? I used to play it a lot before D2 came out, and even after it did. This game is a lot like diablo, though you control two characters, and it's in full 3d. Sure the graphics are way outdated now, but it was real eye candy when it first came out.

I have it, and play it. It's pretty fun. Very simple in comparison to the games out now. Though it does get boring after awhile. Another game that you might want to try out of the bargin bins is Nightstone. You control 3 characters at the same time in 3 different games. I know that might sound strange, but you have a warrior, mage and amazon. They start at different points on a world map and all have different quests to solve. You can switch back and forth with these characters so it is almost like playing them all at the same time. It is not a bad looking game, very Diabloesc. If you like that sort of thing. Quite fun also.

Do they all meet up at some point? It sounds interesting. I've never heard of this game. I have seen Darkstone in the bargain bin.

I have not finished the quests of all players yet,but they do seem to be heading twored a central location on the map. I belive the endgame is in the same place for all of them. It would be cool if it came to controlling them all in the endgame!
Virgin Interactive put the game out. It is copywrited 2001 by New Horizons Studios.

Unless it's like MDK 2 where you get to select who the hero of the day is and the other two end up as AI allies. Or perhaps all three have a final task that contributes to the demise of the big-bad.

I had ages ago, but my kid came down one weekend and it vanished . Of course, he had no idea where it was! I enjoyed what I got to play of it.

Hmm, actually in MDK2 you select the hero only in the last mission. Before that you play one-by one, without chosing. During the last mission you only have a bit of AI help during the boss battle and it isn't much.
BTW, MDK2 was made by Bioware .

Yep, I have it. It's okay, but... you have to eat. And I don't mean you simply have to keep track of how much food you have, either. You have to physically go into your backpack and click on different types of food. And you have to do it a lot. Very tedious very quickly.

Plus, it's one of those "3D engine just because we can" games, and so you spend most of your wrist energy rotating around obstacles that are only in your way because it's 3d. It's like NWN and DS in that way, but with worse camera control

Overall.. tedious. The effort-to-fun ratio wasn't high enough for me to finish the game. But the engine was kinda okay.

Just opinions.

But just so this isn't completely full of gripes. There's one I kinda liked called Nox that people don't mention very often. Not perfect, and takes getting used to, but it's fun and has charm. If you're going for one of those bargain bin game, this one is worth checking out.

... so I stripped down to nothing but a Super Big Gulp cup and rubberband, and ran up the street screaming "Swing me, gringo!"
