Try (Cautiously) to go NORTH, eventually you will come to a market place town where there's a smith called Geoff

invest 1 point in the repair skill found in the warrior path and if needed read this link. (link is thanks to Raze)

Otho in Aleroth (the healer village) can also repair items.

Goemoe the lizard also has the power to fix things (and Otho is probably less friendly than him so Goemoe is cheaper <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />).

Yes, I would invest 1 point in repair skill if I were you. As long as you can keep the item from breaking you will be fine. Even if it does break, you can always just repair it. 1 shill level in repair, and you can repair up top I believe 60 percent of the item will be repaired.

I eventually put 2 points in and I may max it out after a while. Instead of spending a fortune in repairing items and not being able to use a broken item in the dungeons, has made this skill worthwhile. Repairing things yourself also raises the value of an item you are trying to sell without losing gold on repairing said item.

Good luck to you,

Pystal

Unless you have a surplus of skill points I wouldn't max it. Just repair as needed.
