What level should you be when you try to rescue Zandalor?
I ask, because I don't want to end up trying it too early, like I entered Stormfist Castle too early and then had much trouble to get out of the dungeons.
I'm a warrior of lvl 22. I have lvl 3 or something of heal. And lots of mana potions. And I can poison my weapon (and have lots of poison potions).
Am I ready to find Zandalor? Or should I wait? If so,what level is good?
And after I have rescued him, will I be able to revisit Iona's Dungeons? Because I got out there in haste, and didn't get any xp or treasure for it. So I definitely want to go back there and clear out the place.

(I really want those teleporter stones back! I'm clearing out the sewers under ars magicana area now,and it's really annoying that you have to go all the way back by foot to sell the stuff you found. I don't want to leave anything behind because there is so many good stuff there. Like the curled sword (forgot the name) and that great axe of that torturer guy and all)

Hi Ilias!

I think Level 22 is a bit too early for rescuing Zandalor!
I would suggest you to wait until level 30 about. Of course you can revisit Ionas Dungeon. Just enter it from the point where you came out of the dungeon.

You will get your teleporter stones later in the game. Just follow the main quest....

ok,i'll kill some more orcsies then first :hihi:
thanks!
Ow,and I know I can revisit the Dungeon's now, but i wondered if i can still revisit them after Zandalor is rescued. Because those things are related if i'm not mistaking.
but it doesn't really matter now, I guess I'll visit Iona's Dungeon's before i rescue Zandalor (around lvl 25 i guess for the dungeons)
so thanks for the advice!
*can't wait to play the game tonight* It's really getting addictive when you are at a decent level!

Rescuing Zandalor does not cut off any areas or prevent any quests from being complete.

If you don't have too much of a problem with clearing the Rivertown sewers, keep going and rescue Zandalor. Save before going through any doors, and you can always re-load if required. After rescuing Zandalor, something will happen and he will want to teleport you somewhere. Save, then let him do so; if the area is too tough, you can re-load. This is the 'no guts, no glory' play style. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

As for as not having the teleporter stones, stick one or more of the chests in the sewer somewhere handy, and use them to dump loot into. When you get your teleporters back, you can return to get everything (flag your map with the location). I did this in Iona's dungeon, though I was returning later to finish it off anyway.

Actually, Iona's dungeon would be a good place to level up first, with the health and mana shrines scattered throughout.

Restoration potions can be much more effective than separate health and mana potions.

hi,

As for not having the tele stones anymore, you can find or buy a frog statue and use this to turn into a frog. When you are in frog form, you can travel in hyper space mode. Not that fast but it is really really fast.

If you encouonter any monsters in this form, just right click and you will turn into human form again. Even if you dont turn yourself into human for by right clicking, the time limmit of the spell will turn you back to human after a while.

Anyway, Iam at work so I had to make this fast.

Good luck,

Pystal

Both smiths (Geoff in Ars Magicana and Grisha in the dwarven halls) tend to have a lot of money. The amount of money merchants have is determined when their inventories get re-set periodically (about 10-15 minutes real time after last talking to, hitting alt near, or running your cursor over them). Unless they start holding on to a lot of the stuff you sell them (which get listed above the gold and randomized inventory) their gold keeps replenishing within about the same amount range.

well,I got all Geoff's money now...
haven't been to the dwarven halls yet. So I might do that soon. Although I suppose it's not for a lvl 26...so I'll wait a bit.

You can always run again. Store your stuff that you can't or don't want to sell in a chest next to your tp.
