Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks what's with the levers

So I'm front of the levers, got the manuscript with the proper sequence. I do the sequence and the lever on the west wall to which the Deathknight replies the lever is blocked! Nothing happens, there's supposedly a short film sequence which I do not see.

The sequence:
1. third lever
2. first lever
3. fourth lever
4 second lever

Nothing happens!

I forgot the exact combination, but that doesn't seem right. I think it was 2-4-1-3. Check the manuscript again, and write it down maybe. The door right below you should open.

i died twice before i figured it out.....baka desu....

Allright, maybe I'm just not that smart, maybe I'm not much of an adventurer or maybe I'm just lazy. I switched the levers 3 times according to the manuscript (all 4 of them), door opens (even when i had 2 different settings of levers cause the second time I just pulled some of them randomly ^^) but both times I died.

What is it you need to do exactly? If you don't want to spoil anybody's game, mail me or pm me! Thanks!
