Hi,

when i want to edit my profile (click 'my home'), then I keep arriving at 'main index' (after entering userid / password again).

I remember that in my profile was an option 'start page My Home or Main Index', and I am afraid i choose for Main Index, what could explain it.

But how to change it back?

Hmm... I don't quite understand the problem. You are logged in, and if you click on "My Home" then, you have to log in again? And then you return to the main index, so that you have to click on "My Home" again, wher you have to log in again which sends you to main index and so on and so forth?

El'G (what happened to your name by the way? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Don't you want to have your old name back?) - he just means that when he logs in, he's directed to the main index instead of the default "my home".

Alustriel: Be sure to be logged in, then go to your display preferences. There you can change the setting that says "When you login do you want to go to your My Home or the main index?" to "My Home", et voilà. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
At least that's the only explanation I can find.

Normally you have to login only once in a long while, since your browser stores the login state in his magic memory.. iirc. Except if you often switch browsers or computers, that is. Well, hope it works after the change, good luck.
