A filmclip

Supposedlly from a medical program (our Dutch friends here might confirm or falsify). They're supposed to talk with some pepole who has had some drastic procedure done (not sure what) and how has it effected their lifes. The interviewer must have been so fired...

It's indeed not real. It's a sketch from the (hilarious) Belgian show 'In de Gloria'.

Do you telnet / ssh? Huh??? What's that? Never heard the term...

GPA?

It's great they want you to tell them who you are in operatingsystems too...

Result: Not nerdy, but definitely not hip.

Have a better one, this one mesures how dorky and geeky you are too <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />:

How dorky/nerdy/geeky are you?

I scored this last time I did it:

Pure Dork
47 % Nerd, 13% Geek, 69% Dork
For The Record: A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions. You scored better than half in Dork, earning you the title of: Pure Dork. Like Napoleon Dynamite, you are a dork. Though, probably not so much as he. It's not as though you were some whiz-kid in school. Oh, sure, you probably did okay in some classes, but were probably awful in others. Certainly most people thought you were smarter than you thought yourself to be. And it's not that you have some overriding passion, like computers or Star Trek that sets you apart for the crowd, though you likely share some interest in some of those sorts of things. You just like to be yourself, and want to express yourself for who you are. And, really, there's nothing wrong with that. Being who you are often invites scorn, and so it's a difficult thing in a world that rewards conformity. Be proud of your dorkiness, for often it's just another word for individuality. Congratulations!

Exept for the bold text I acually thought it was an ok description (I did more than ok in most classes, and ok in the rest. And I'm still doing more than ok or ok). Here's what I got now:

Tri-Lamb Material
52 % Nerd, 13% Geek, 82% Dork
For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Nerd and Dork, earning you the coveted title of: Tri-Lamb Material.

The classic, "80's" nerd, you are what most people think of when they think "nerd," largely due to 80's movies like Revenge of the Nerds and TV shows like Head of the Class. You're exceptionally bright and smart, and partly because of that have never quite fit in with your peers or social groups. Perhaps you're realized, or will someday, that it is possible to retain all of the things that you like about being brilliant and still make peace with the social cliques around you. Or maybe you won't--it's really not necessary. As the brothers of Lambda Lambda Lambda discovered, you're fine just the way you are and can take pride in that. I mean, who wants to be like Ogre, right!?
