Found by elgi : An Austrian German-language article about German words being fasion in the US here.

It's a bit confusing for me here ... German words becoming famous in English language ? Here the things go vice versa ...

hmm I guess there's some truth in this, after all the word "Uber" (yeah yeah sorry bout the missing umlaut) has become a fairly well used word in the RPG community

A few years I saw someone in the Relic forums (Relic -> Homeworld) calling himself "Überjumper". I think this was the first time I noticed this word in an English-language context.

If you really believe that, I feel sorry for you. Somehow our president has become the villain in the media instead of a group of Islamic extremists with no moral scruples.

Well, that depends. I hate him for one reason : While the soldiers were commanded to guard the oil ministry in Iraq, they were NOT designated to guard the national museum.

It got robbed, plundered, scavanged. The nightmare of ALL archaeologists WORLDWIDE ! You cannot imagine the shockwave that went through ALL members of this profession WORLDWIDE after this event !

I hate him, because he and his generals considered 5000 years of culture inferior to oil.

Very true Alrik, my sentiments exactely! This was an unforgivable rape of culture and history!
