i hear sacred is extremely bugged. nothing that will prevent you from progressing (unless you save) but its pretty annoying. most bugs are with horse/teleport, and multiplayer coop. the new patch apparently doesn't help much

But who does not save when playing a game.

*Extremely* is a bit too hard, maybe, but there is still quite an amount of bugs, yes.

I have played for many hours on SP and can assure you I have not encountered any bugs which interfere with gameplay.

what i meant was it will screw up your game if you saved while a bug was in effect.

don't misunderstand, i don't think the game is bad, but don't overlook the fact that they may have ignored bugs to rush the game to market.

I also have been playing Sacred single-player, and the only bugs I've found are quests that don't initialize properly (the quest icons on the maps don't appear). Other than that, it's been good fun, but I can't wait for Beyond Divinity!

Regards,
Michael

well u haven't played deep enough. There are bugs on the subquests.. some of the random bugs u get can't be solved, because of the invalid map pointers, unless u are lucky to bump into the quest items u likely u have it unsolved..

anyway i think it's a nice game with some new things thrown in.. like horse riding and i like particulary the exchange policy of runes that are not ur class or u don't need..

also u can socket items like rings/amulets or runes to ur equipments..

also not forgetting unlimited levels

Yes. There is an occasional bug with a side quest, but nothing major in my opinion. Naturally I'd like to see them fixed, but the effect on my gameplay has been minimal to none.

I have bought the game this week and I have played all weekend. After installing the game in my pc, I downloaded the latest patch. Up till now there was no problem at all with bugs. I am testing the game with the minimum system requirements and it works fine. It is true that in some things it reminded me and in some other Diablo 2. But there are some things that really impressed me.

- The manual was translated in Greek. I found that it was very thoughtful for the gamers.
- Horse riding. There were games in the past that I gave up just because I had to run and run and run and never get somewhere. I found horse riding fun and practical. I also liked the sound that they used for horse riding. Very natural.
- The world map and the quests. Though mini map was not good at all, the world map was IMHO very handy. And I liked that they mark the places you have to go in order to cemplete a quest. RPGS are usually huge games. It is a pain in you know where when you have to look all over a huge map just to find the right small spot you have to go for a quest completion.
- Collect all choice. I liked that too. With one click collect all the goodies
- Graphics. I liked them. The waters and the fog looked very nice.
- Price. I bought with Sacred one more rpg. Prince of Qin. Sacred was very cheap. POQ very expensive and sucked. I sure will not play that game. Sacred was on half a price and it is way better.

Well all the above are my personal opinion but I think that in general for a first try of a company is a very good job.

another remark on this great game is that runs very smoothly on my PC which is an older Dual PIII 633 Mhz with a Geforce 2 Ultra 64 MB. I'm really impressed with the graphics and gameplay. The quests however are quite straightforward and there is a lot of hack'nslash... In the end however : very good game and thumbs up from my point of view.
