why is this forum insisting me to allow cookies or set it to low?

is there other way to overcome it? I have no problem in other forums that ALSO accept cookies and my IE is set to medium level. You know with all the concern, i am particulary careful abt setting my cookies level?

pls help

yeah i am pretty sure there isn't any problem here.. but the problem with it, is the low setting or allow settings affect the IE for ANY sites that i go. Which means i am vulnerable to any mal cookies.

Mine is set to Medium with no problems. Try opening it up to Larian, perhaps:
  1. Click Tools/Internet Options... menu.
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Type larian.com and click Allow.
  5. Click OK and OK.

This will allow all cookies to be sent and received from larian.com.

I just had a look. The forum link at beyond-divinity.com seems to open it in a full-sized frame. It links directly to the larian.com forum. The link I usually use for the forums is http://www.larian.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php.

I'm glad it works... there was a weird problem with 'read' threads though yesterday.... Every thread stayed blue on my PC, but that seems to be ok now <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Speaking of . I was posting and when I hit submit the next page said forum is closed. I closed my broser and reopened. Same thing. Came back awhile later and my post had gone through...Stange.

I've been having some strange behaviour too. Occasionally it says that I haven't filled in a necessary field. I hit back and submit again and it goes through.

Also, there was one thread I tried to access and all I got was the header up to the orange bar that says Page: 1, then immediately after, the other orange bar that says Page: 1 and the rest of the footer. No posts appeared. I sent the link to someone I was chatting with at the time and it worked properly for them, even showing that there were two pages, not one. I believe it was the @Lynn: pre-ordering thread? I haven't tested it since, at least not intentionally.

I have had both of the above problems, but only after I have deleted cookies. That was ofcourse before I made larian.com a save cookie to keep.

I have a different, yet somehow strange "problem" (or rather "glitch" ) : When I write in this Forum with Mozilla Firefox Javascript turned on, the cursor in the forms often disappears !

lol, seemingly, yes. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

I wonder whether this is an Mozilla Firefox - related glitch (I don't say problem <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> ) ?

why use firefox when the best browser IMO is myIE2.. i am saying that.. because u can't uninstall IE, so why have 2 browsers, running on ur PC...

with myIE2.. the engine is still IE, but u have nice interface... and that tab windows..

if u don't like myIE2, then can try avant browser using IE engine too..
