Well, I really enjoyed the demo except for 2 things...

1) I also had a nightmare trying to target things for combat, though it wasn't so bad once I stopped trying to click on the circles! My only real complaint is that holding CTRL just did not work - I got so used to using this in DD that it felt like I had lost an arm playing without it. Obviously it works for the rest of you though, so hopefully I will be able to use it in the full game.

2) I like my main character to be a warrior, but with the Death Knight in the party using the main as a warrior is a waste of time - DK seems much much better at it...

Oh, and can you change party formations? My main char always seemed to be at the front and so was always the one targeted and with the AI being similar to the infinty engine games (ie monster picks target and follows target around no matter what else happens) ended up running in circles while the DK took swings at its back.

Other than that - really looking forward to the game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Well I'll have my main character a Fighter and the DK a Wizard, as I like being a fighter.

Oh and some interesting info on this topic from ForkTong (Larian)

So wouldn't it be logical to make him a wizard with high armour and resistance levels? That way, the armour you pick up, mostly with strength requirements, which cannot be worn by him anyway, can benefit the hero character, which you would make a warrior as to meet the STR req's... If you want to go for a wizard/warrior pair, of course.

I also had a problem with targetting when I first started playing the demo, and I complained vociferously about it! But you know what? By the end of the demo, I was having no problems at all!

I think it's just a learning thing - it doesn't quite work how you expect, but once you've been playing a while, it all becomes second nature and seems quite natural. Really, I had no problems by the end of the demo.

That was my experience, anyway. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
