Not really RPG, but if u guys ever played Syberia.. get Syberia 2.. out now..

fantastic!!! really beautiful piece of game..

for adventure game, nothing come close to the longest journey... can't wait for the sequel.. but syberia 1 and now 2.. are really fun.. and kate walker is so beautiful.. i wonder if she was sketched based on a real life person

I read some reviews for Syberia. They seemed very half-hearted about it. What caught your attention?

I played the original and liked it very very much. So I'm thinking about buying the sequel.

I got the demo on a PC Gamer CD last month. It's beautiful. I played the first one on XBox, but think I'll work the sequel on the PC. It's a great puzzle lover's game.

I once played the DEmo of Syberia 1 - and I liked the "european touch" of the game / Demo very much ... - although I don't like Robots and Automatons very much (feel kind of morbide to me).

Happen to have that CD right here....whoops, nope, must have been the month before. The Farcry cd only has Farcry on it. ~rummages through cds on desk~ Not April, not March, not January, not December, not Holiday. Must be February, which I can't find. That figures.

Blood and bloody ashes, now I've got to find that cd. Anybody know the weaves for finding lost game demos?

I'm currently playing Syberia and I love this game !

(Although there are many automatons. )

It's very good ... a bit weird though, as if this was taking place in another version of this world ...

About the graphics : Everything is rendered, it looks a bit empty everywhere ... but has a deep atmosphere ! The characters are moving *very* smoothly, and there is an odd kind of humour behind the lines ...

Seems to be motion-capturing, that's why she moves so smoothly ... look into the credits.

I loved this game too. Though morbid is a word that would fit the atmosphere of the whole game (Perhaps melancholy would be a better word) I loved it but you have to admit, its kind of depressing The game has a very good style though, from music to washed out sepia tone graphics the game melds together as a perfect whole, with nothing seeming out of place. As much a work of art as a game.

Syberia was one of my most fav. adventure games. After The Longest Journey of course. I suppose it was because the game was so real. I mean Kate had that selfish mother and that stupid fiancé back home... It was a really nice story but when I finished I felt that something is not finished. Perhaps that was the idea because they wanted to create a sequel of the game... The longest journey left me more content when I finished. I am really curious to see what is going to happen next to April...

It's correct, It was planned from the start that Syberia had a sequel.
What I also liked about the original game was that the puzzles were logical.

Haven't gotten it yet, but I intend to.

I did play the Syberia 1 demo though - It seemed alright, not great, not terrible... There was one thing I didn't like though (surprise, surprise ): the dialogues! Frankly, I thought they were horribly written and the performances were about the level of the VTM series "Familie" Could be just me though...

Anyway, in the Demo everything sounds ... German.. I mean the inhabitants of Valadiléne seemed to be German to me ... especially Momo.

It sounded a biit to me like the Amish in the movie with Harrisson Ford, I forgot the title ...
