so i got this bag to place jewels or whatnot in. I have 2 crytals an air one and a ice one. I tried hovering the crystal over the bag but it did nothing. i opened the bag and see 4 slots, but you cant drag anything onto it.

ideas?

Ok, move your opened bag screen NEXT to the inventory screen => now try drag&drop into a slot <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - the bag screen tends to hide behind the inventory - that's why you think, you can't put anything into it. Same for charm items, BTW.

You can see it in your stats when you drag+drop => resistances change. Sadly no ethereal crystals exist. The German version has tool tips, telling which crystal it is and so you can watch your resistance grow:
fire, water, earth, air, poison, spiritual, shadow bone.

The bag adds resistances based on the crystal types and sizes in it, right? Unfortunately the info isn't displayed on the bag or the crystals.

Those are at least easy to figure out by seeing the changes in your resistances, and you can remove the crystals from the bag at any time. It is pretty self-explanatory: A fire crytal protects against fire, a bone crystal against bone damage, etc. Not a huge amount of protection, though. A medium crystal is like 4% resistance.

Any chance of getting a second crystal bag for my other character? Nobody has had one for sale, I'm at the end of Act II and still haven't found a second crystal bag... and my Death Knight is sulking. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, but your DK really doesn't need a crystal bag. I've noticed that besides his armor, his resistances go up with every level or so, and so my char with the bag has about the same resistances as the DK without. Maybe the DEVs made it that way so the res would be balanced between characters and you both would have a chance of surviving traps, mages, elementals, etc.

Relax, Monkehman, my earth res was on 21 => and when the earthquake came... errhm... it was a 50/50% I died <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> (Those cowards appeared in huge armies - I mean... 2-3 against Pinkie and me...

Do you have a pickpocket skill? I stole crystals... even from the non responding guards in Act 1, drill grounds - I already have an earth crystal <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

The Necro has crystals and charms.

Ah, yes I have the pickpocketing skill but only low level, and I didn't get it until Act II. I haven't been able to ply my *cough* skill on the Necro because the game cleverly forces me either into dialogue or transport mode, and won't let me wander around stealing stuff! Yes, the Necro is an exception - bugged me, too. Just follow the main plot, then you can "loot" him at one time in the game (Act 3). HAH! that really satisfied me. If you're in Act 2 => did you find 3(?) crystals in the Temple area? They are medium sized IIRC.

LoL sorry just noticed this. Well it was more the embarassment of not thinking to drag and drop into it. Felt like a bit of a banana, maybe that's the monkey part.
