Lookin for the God's Sword, or similar name. I hear its found in the wasteland, but i've looked in every nook and cranny and have not found it yet. Any assistance would be appreciated

As far as I know it lies within one of the empty houses.

Thanks Dragon, you rock. I remember seeing the God's Sword on the old forums but i just couldnt remember where it was. I assume that it's stats are random and I should save before identifying it

Took me 20 times to get that. The best is to not open the cupboard and save before. Just in case your mouse has already touched/identified the item. Then reloading won't help.

Hm.... except for the charm quality I never got it to be better than the Nobleman's Sword (or how is it called in the english version?) from the cave north of the graveyard, and that is a one-hander, too. Or did you manage that?

I know swords are supposed to be the best weapons in the game, but I really prefer axes so I intend to get a REALLY good axe, like the Axe of a 100 crusades, or summit like that

Yes, I did, Anthea, but didn't keep the Noble Sword, cause the amulet was more important for me.
There are large differences between the German and Engl. version besides the language... Only after playing both I was able to understand some posts.

Well, the amulet was more important to me when I played the survivor maid, too. But now I thought I make a try to play the "dumb fighter" (strength now at 130, intelligence at 42, just before crossing from wastelands to the last dungeon), so I did take the sword. But till now I must say that I enjoyed the good-played survivor-type much more than the good-played fighter, but that is something everyone can choose for himself/herself.

I had 59 rep in my German one (vers. 1.029), max here is 54 or 56 if you don't join the thieves guild.
Further differences:
Many more charms - even gold - dropped in Rivertown
Many more items stuck in wall
less info with ALT, character responds "slower" to mouse, it's trickier to reach dangerous doors (Timmy's parents)
Dorian's cell IS locked and stays locked, no hanging cutscene (Vers. 1.031 in German)
sometimes even 2 spellbooks at a time from Kistandalius, I've maxed out more than in the German version.
Larian armour "forgot" its magical abilites mag. barrier, poison skin and a 3rd one - had to take it off and put it on again several times
Axe of Crusades in German by Patriarch in German (3x), Axe of Maiming in Engl., Crusade by imp chieftain in N part, where you start
Seems more worth it to reload several times for good stuff than in German -I had Monk Leggings every time in German - even 20 reloading didn't give them to me at the Imp Castle
Finnegan has NO lockpicks - a wonderful source in the German version
Mpenzak stays at burned cart when I did it - did not stand before the Ducal Inn
Solved Marcus/Tingalf quest completely (quest log is clean), he's still standing at Ars

oh yea, I finished the Tingalf quest in the English version, he's still standing there. A bug that I enjoy is that after I bought the original dragon armor (before the heart stone) and the heart stone back from the dwarven smith, i could talk to him and he'd forge another suit of armor...and I kept getting experience for it

I think I will do the legal cheating :P of ressing monsters and then killing them later hehe fun stuff ya know?

And another thing! :P I think larian needs to put out a strat guide for DD2. Just because 1: More money for the company, who I definetly want to see grow and 2: WE COULD MAKE IT!

Sorry, a grammar reading mistake, deleted post.

Thank you very much, Anthea for pointing it out.

Kiya, I think you mixed something up. The two sentences in his reply refer to two different "bugs", (1) that Tingalf stays standing there after getting him locked in, and (2) the thing with the dwarfen smith (even mentioned in that sentence)

Kiya

I don't think it's a language difference--I noticed that when I played earlier as a fighter, and DIDN'T burn down the cart, Mpenzak went in front of the Ducal Inn. This time, I'm playing a mage, and DID burn down the cart, Mpenzak stays by the cart.
