I bought a game called "The Thing" $89 AU and was full of bugs, being in Australia we received the English version not the USA version, unfortunately for me theres no English version patch available, so I got a game thats practically unplayable.
Thanks Telemachos, I think I'll go back on my anti-silly-pills, I must be daft or blind. I couldnt find anything except the US version when I first encountered the bugs in the game, although that was a few months ago. I'll have to dig the game out of the corner and try again (lucky I diddnt turf the game like I was gonna) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Sorry Goldylocks, but I meant I couldnt find an English version of "The Thing" patch, I downloaded and ran the <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> patch with no troule and its running sweet, sorry for the confusion and thanks for the help <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
The point I was trying to make was that if games were finished and polished before being released for sale I wouldnt have had to download a huge patch for <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> and I would never have encountered any problems with "The Thing" in the first place.
