I comes out in mid October when I'll be AFK, but when I return in mid November I plan to try it. Everybody at Theamazonbasin who has tried it is very anthusiastic.

Might be worth a shot. Can't say I've played a blizzard game I was dissapointed in. Still fighting with the wife for internet time though.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

The only two things I think I would be a problem for me is
1: It's a Blizzardgame, and Blizzardgames doesn't work properly on my computer (had minor problems with Diablo 2 and had MAJOR PROBLEMS with WC3(pity, since it's a really good game.)).
2: It's a (what do you call it? Big comunity? I don't really know) online game so you would have to pay a graet load of money to be able to play it.

Otherwise it seems good and say what you whant about Blizzard but they make very entertaining (at least for a while) games.

Massively Multiplayer Online (Role Playing) Game.

I won't be playing it, I just don't like that type of game.

i'd like to play WoW, but with the way blizzard games have ruined my social life to near oblivion, i don't think i can get married if i play WoW.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

and to echo jaggedjim, i don't like MMORPG's. no coherent storyline, just plain socializing with players, most of whom turn out to be a**holes. though judgement on WoW remains to be seen, it looks gorgeous. and blizz is known to churn out games of good quality and are highly-addicting. so i think WoW will turn out ok. i wish it does, so that other gaming companies will be forced to improve quality. or else most players will just migrate to Wow despite the monthly fee if it turns out to be as good (or better) as it's being advertised. knowing blizz, they will leave no stone unturned to to make WoW a killer game.

That and I pre-ordered the game, so I got this neat little pre-order package and a code that will let me play the first week-end of every month until release!

The package includes:
-Passcode for all Beta events access
-Ability to reserve your character's name
-A poster
-An exclusive in-game item, when the game is released
-A prima tournament strategy booklet
-Some music from Jeremy Soule
-A CD with screenshots, concept art, and wallpapers.

Sadly you can only get that package in north America. Though I heard you can pre-order online and get the package too, but I'm not sure about that.
