A girlfriend of mine,
has made a website for her fraturnity (only for woman)
but there is a difference if i load it in IE or in Firefox (latest versions)

what's the diffrence?
in ie you can see a gray area on top with a menu:
"home wat? Leden foto's" ..etc

in firefox you do not see this.
only the gray area you can see.
but strangely if you put you mouse pointer just under the gray area onto the tiny purple line, and drag that line down (it only works in a few spots on the purple line.)
you get a new purple line with the menus in it.

how is this possible?
anyone has a clue?

Dunno why .... but I am running FF v1.0 and yes theres the line when I click on that I get the nav bar when it reloads <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Ok i will look at it but today(can't say tomorrow cause it's 0:09) When i wake up.

it's prolly a use of IE code that is not in the standards that mircosofts loves to not follow.

i 'll look at the code tomorrow CU tomorrow.

First look: frames <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" /> . frames are out of fasion Now they use tables. JFYI

I see it's is makes use of ASP. So why use frames? Just have two pages that contains the design.

In php i would do it like this.

include("head.php");

... the center part of the site

include("tail.php");

just a suggestion.

OK fourth look and then I go to sleep.

try scrolling with the wheel of your mouse when in the top frame. It scrolls (no scrolbarr arrtibutte most likely) So my guess would be theire is a measurement wrong.

Yes, if you place the cursor over the top purple area and use the scroll wheel you can see all the menu stuff.
BTW, unrelated to your question, Firefox blocked 1 popup from the site and I denied 2 cookies.
