Right...been playing Oblivion. And I got to the part, where yer man says to kill the other fella, then escort the dude to the town...er...near where the tree is!! And so I did that, and then the fairy came down from the sun and told me I was living a lie, and that I really didn't have the game, and it was a washing up liquid bottle I was swinging around, not a sword. The armour I found was just a pot I put on my head...and the town was my bedroom...and....and.....

it's kinda stupid, i got 2 horses at the moment: a chestnut and a black horse. so if i want to use my chestnut i need to travel to the stable where i left it behind, but if i want my black one i need to go to another freaking stable and I always forget where i put my horses. cant i buy my personal stable or something like that? would be much easier!

if your not on your horse during battle, it can defend itself

but it can also die, im not sure what happens if it were to die while you were on it...perhaps you would get crushed under it or thrown off

in any case, i still have the chestnut horse

I have a black horse with (free ^.^ --in 2 different ways) elven armor...i just forgot where he is...

There's a good feature on Gamespot about the performance issues with the game, and what you can do to make the game run better (but look crap)!

Seems even on a very good PC the game will look fairly bad in comparison to how it 'should' look.

i got the fastest horse! it cost 5000 and only one type is tougher. (you can buy it in cheyndale or something like that.) i got already 3 horses and now its getting complicated. its always the wrong horse that follows me!

Where the hell can i get a nice ammount of steel arrows (more than fifty) cause like i just keep running out of arrows!

eehmm...I dont know but after killing some opponents who had about 100 each and i had 500 of them i dropped them...too much weight <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

i got infected with the vampire disease
since there are different stages each stage that you go without feeding increases your power but makes you weak toward fire and constant sun damage during the day outdoors

im in the final stage and kinda unsure if i should start feeding on others?

I got that a while back too...i found it anoying not te be able to walk in the sun (but this made me have a strength of about 120 i think) , or feeding on domeone very often. I got rid of it as fast as i could...

i finally made it to listener rank in the dark brotherhood guild
(an imperial knight in the assassins guild who what of thought huh <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> )
and i still have that pain in the neck (pun <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> )vampire problem

turns out that there are no skill point requirements to advance in the ranks of guilds like in morrowwind, instead just hard work and good ole fun

you guys were talking about horses being able to switch them out which ones you want to use, how did you do that cause i had to kill my previous horse (sucide jump from a mountain <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> ) in order to use my other horse

I was going to argee with ya...but then I got the game working at full settings!

In fact I don't even have to turn my computer on!

The graphics are amazing, the most lifelike I've ever seen in a game...but the gameplay is total crap!

Like the mission where the woman asks to you 'Go to ya olde shoppe and pick up some milk?'

'But milk comes from yonder cow, wench!' I said....

She got angry and wouldn't reply anymore...then she performed some magic on a box in the corner and it started showing her images of far off places and people.
She called it 'TV'...

I left the wench in search of adventure...but the instant traveling thing isn't working in my version!! Do I need a patch? And I also couldn't get into anyones house to steal things...? That's the basis of ALL good RPG's isn't it? So why did they remove that from the game...

Step 1: have more than 1 horse
Step 2: get off horse 1
Step 3: get on horse 2
Step 4: use the horse as you wish

If you leave your other horse in a stable it will stay there. if not it will go to the stable where you bought it. (it will take some time before the horse gets there)

Well, I guess you've also read the list about role playing clichés <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> and ine entry said that in almost all RPGs one could happily walk into a house, rummage in the owners belongings, even when the whole family is in the same room, take some items nder the arm, hold a nice chat with the owner, and then walk out seemingly unnoticed. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I don't think this should be the way, do YOU want some indtruders / burglars to take your goods, hold a chat with you and then freely walk out of the house ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

mages guild quest is so freaking long. to get in that university you need to get all the recomandetions, i got two and when i check the map there is AGAIN an arrow in chorrol, altough this was the first recomdation i got. What the hell?

its not that long if you ask me, there are some harder quest, some easier, once in the arcane university the quests are quite fun and you can anchant your armor! and make new spells!

hmm, i think i gonna start over again. i made to many adjustments to my character.

i gonna pick a different race too i think. (at the moment im a dark elf)
