sounds great!
Are there many of these trainers, and are they hard to find?
Can every trainer just learn you one or 2 skills, or does he have new ones each time you level up?

Class trainers--priest, warrior, druid, etc. are found in major cities and towns. All of them can train you as high as you need. You can view all skills and at what level you get them when you visit the class trainer.

Profession trainers, on the other hand, can only train you up to a certain level, and for higher level training you must find a higher level trainer. Some may be hard to find. (unless you read about them on the web)

I'm no cheater, so I guess I have to find them myself.
But how would I be able to play with someone like you for instance?
afaik, there are so many servers, how could I ever join the right one, and then find you?

Easy.
You ask.
I have characters in Stormrage, Tichondrius and Terenas. Currently playing on Terenas PvE --Wartar and Priund are my char names--they are of the horde.

8 races:

Alliance
Human
Night Elf--big ears
Dwarf
Gnome--too damn cute

The Horde
Undead--the women have an attitude--very funny
Troll--Ugly
Tauren--Bulls on 2 legs
Orc

9 classes:
Druid | Hunter | Mage | Paladin | Priest | Rogue | Shaman | Warlock | Warrior

Playing 2 chars at present--
a warrior--not just a grunt
priest--interesting and complex

Here they are.

Hey Übereil,

I do understand where you are coming from, but 3D computer animation and graphics have come a long way and are a lot better today than say they were in the 1980's.
Just compare the Landscape of Space Invaders compared to this Landscape.
Landscape Created via World Builder

I realize you were talking about the character in your post, but they are improving too.
So the World of Warcraft is coming along quite nicely wouldn't you say.

1. Plays fine on a 2 year old computer.
2. They can whip any high definition lifelike character you got.

Compare with KotOR (from 2003) who looks a lot more (what's the word, what's the word) realistic, the humans in KotOR looks like humans (with propotions and all). Those pictures don't really manage to do that.

Never been a fan of the WC3 graphs. But I liked the game in general.

I agree with Ube, too cartoon-ish.

Also that chick shouldn't have yellow eyes, looks very strange.

I too am a fan of WC3 though...

When she gazes longingly at you with her yellow eyes you won't know whether to run or weep.

yeah, thats another question I have: will it run on my computer?
Pentium 4
1,8 gigahertz
256 mb ram
geforce 3 3d card

Btw, I like the way your characters look.
Will they change appearance as you, for instance level up, or wear armour and the like?

From the Gamespot website:
* DirectX Version: v9.0
* Operating System: Windows 98/2000/ME/XP

Minimum System Requirements
* System: Intel Pentium3 800 MHz or AMD Duron 800 MHz processor or equivalent
* RAM:256 MB RAM
* Video Memory: 32 MB VRAM
* Hard Drive Space: 4000 MB
* Other: Internet connection and monthly fee required; PC/Mac Hybrid

Recommended System Requirements
* Video Memory: 64 MB VRAM

My notebook:
Windows XP Home Edition
Intel ~1994 Mhz
RAM 512.00 MB
Mobility Radeon 9000 (with ancient drivers--Dell has not updated the driver in 2 years)
cable modem connection

I do not know how it will run on yours. It runs fine on my machine even with multiple apps open. If I have any lag it is only when everybody else also has lag.

Yes the characters change appearance as you change or remove their clothes/armor. And there are enchantments players can make (if they are sufficiently skilled in the enchanting profession) which add different color glows.

You also get to customize the appearance of the character--skin color, etc.

We will see how much Ube laughs when he gazes into the eyes of Priund as she casts her spell upon him. But who knows? Perhaps Norsemen are immune to the magic of an undead priestess.

I had read the system recs to, but mostly developers take the minimun requirements a bit TO minimum if you know what I mean.
But I guess it will work nicely
Do you have lag often?
Or realm down?

Realms are down for maintenance weekly--usually for a few hourson Tuesday AM.There are a handful of realms that have had problems and been down more often.

Lag has only really been a problem under 2 circumstances:
1. On a high population server in the big cities--notably Ironforge AKA Ironlag.
2. When an opposing faction of players organize a raid into enemy territory, anybody in the vicinity will get lag. This needs to be fixed, and since Blizzard is hyping the upcoming Battleground (massive PVP battles) hopefully it will be.

Thanks, I hope you don't grow tired of all my questions
In what country do you live? Because if you live too far away, it would be impossible for me to play with you, because of time difference.
And isn't it a problem if someone from say america would play in the same "game" as someone from europe?

Like in diablo you had the us east, us west realms etc..
