The music is awesome but there isn't enough of it.
I don't mind listening to the same music a lot since it's good but I would like more of it.

Voice acting in general sounds slightly weird.
The Death Knight sounds like an orc from Warcraft(I eventually got used to it) and the imps sound too squeeky. The Demon Samuel sounds a little flat when he was angry while being summoned away at the end of Act 1, a lot more emotion should have gone into him especially since he is a demon.

Also I would like autogeneration of monsters(after you kill them they are gone until the next act) in the battlefields that are close to your level everytime you enter the battlefields.

That's all for now. I'm off to continue playing.

Happy monster slashing!!!!

We had the sugestion before to have monster spawning caves around... where there keeps on appearing monsters in the areas around the cave, until you clean out the cave. Dont you think that would be a little more realistic than having them appear out of nothing everytime you enter an area?

Personally i think having the caves give the player more control over how he/she wants the game to be like. If you like the random monster appearance, you just leave the cave intact, while if you want to have a safe environment, you clean out the cave and dont worry about that area again.

But yes i do agree that there is a caling for more monster generation during the game. I also find it a little bland at the end of an act, where i can run across the map and not encounter any of the monsters, that NPC x tells me to be beware of

The problem with the voice acting with the imps is that it is inconsistant. There obviously 3 different actors doing voices for the imps, and they all have VERY different takes on what imps sound like. THe "squeeky" imp voice type is one I like most, not only cuz it sounds the best and most realistic, but also because that is how the imps sound like when they die. It is possible for an imp with the "old lady with think accent" type voice to make the sounds of "squeeky" type when he dies.

This inconsistancy in the voice acting is really the main problem I have with this game. The deathknight has two different voices, and sometimes switches between them mid-conversation. There is this one character in act one who has THREE different voices that he uses in one conversation! I assume this not Larian's fault. It is Hip Games fault right? CDV did a MUCH better just with localization, imo

I have stumbled across a character (not mentioning where, since someone will read this post and then bitterly complain about it later on, even though he/she havnt even encountered it yet)... where the voice before the quest completion is female (mathing the portrait) and afterwards turns into a deep husky male voice..... (i wonder how much steroids some prisons add to the food)

But IMO those are minor errors...

lady rain, i encountered that as well. in fact, that happened to the imp with the sick brother. i recalled the first time, he talked in his impish high pitch voice. later on when i replayed that part, he went pavaroti in one of the lines. could it be built-in audio effects in the game engine, if there is such a thing?

this reminds me of the women stone throwers in Life of Brian. they're in fact male actors who play women who pretended to be males. STONE HIM!!

The scene with the skeletons in act1 (the ones that are boasting about their tortures)..... istnt that just a scene taken right out of life of brian??????

i hosed myself when i found that.... i just read the book a couple of days before i got to that scene

"But IMO those are minor errors... "

True, but if it weren't the numerous minor errors in Beyond Divinity, it would be favorite PC game of all time.

If it weren't for the bad English localization plus all the (noticable) minor bugs and glitches, it would be up there with Fallout and Baldur's Gate and Diablo.

I do agree with you, that if with the next game larian and their helpers can sort out the bugs (at least the noticable ones) before the official release, the game would get an absolute brilliant rating....
