I know this is an old, old topic, but I just bought myself the
Diablo & Diablo II + LoD package for only $25.00 USD.
I installed Diablo and what can I say, but WOW!!!!
Yes, the graphics are super, super old, but it is sooooooo good!!!
At least I think it’s a great game for being an older game.

I chose to play a Rogue and she is doing super good so far!

And to think I shy’d away from these games; because, I couldn’t pause them during game play.
And yes, I play a lot of games simultaneously.
I do that; because, I get bored real quick and this way I don’t get bored.

There's something that starts the adrenaline flowing about not having that pause option. Its still good, I reinstall it every once in a while to get that old skool feeling once again.

Loved the rogue, my first character I ran through the game with.

I never found Diablo when I'looked for it, so I bought D2 instead . Allways thought the second game would be better... Maybe if I find it, I can play it in the future...

The monk's a cheezy lame-o character. The only one who can hit 3 seperate targets at once in close combat. Needless to say my easiest game was with him.

@ Mea =>

I found a link to download it, but I held off; because, I wanted to experience the game first in its original form before I play around with it.

Oh but sooo much fun
@Womble you mean to say that the rogue with bow is like difficult
or the Bowazon for that matter heh I remember standing in 1 spot and killing the whole field just by holding the mouse button

Oh, so I can just hold down my mouse button.
And I've been rapid clicking this whole time.
I was wondering how my mouse would survive!

You can in D2, for D1 you need to get a small exe file, to modify that (sorry cant remeber where I found that )

If I'm correct it attacks a crit till it's dead with 1 click, not 1 click every attack.

We're talking Diablo here! Spoiling it will be pretty hard! (I think...)

Hey, what's the difference between Diablo Retail and Diablo Spawn?

My single Disc has both.
I only installed the Retail.

Spawn is for multi-play. So an spawn install on another computer would run as a user for a multi-player game but require the computer using of the original disk to host the game.

I think, correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

Nice system, saves people money if they want to set up multiplayer networks in their homes.

Yeah, pity not many companies do that now. Not even blizzard. Each different computer has to have a different copy of the game.

Then software companies go bezerk when people pirate stuff... go figure.
