I read this into a forum - how to do always the superdrop in the superbosses(didi, meme, andariel, baal). You create a hell game with a char what already finished all bosses, so you enter with the char what didn`t kill yet but is strong enough to kill, go to the quest screen of the char what didn`t kill the bosses and see if the quest to kill has a message like this: "This quest can`t be completed now" and go there and kill the boss with the char what didn`t kill yet and - Superdrop - close the game and repeat.

Have you tried this? Sounds pretty cool....

Not yet, but i'll do it tomorrow with sure.
I saw it in a guide for the fire/rabies druid.

Go to www.diabloii.net - and look at the menu for strategy compendium and look for hybrid druid or fire/rabies druid, if you go there until today or tomorrow is the last addition, so will be at the principal screen.
In the middle of the guide - the guy mention this.

Who's gonna show you how to fly!

Shyon: Tried it once last night starting my game with my hammerdin who had completed norm baal. I then brought my lvl 42 frost zealot into the game and killed norm baal. The drop was good, no mf. 6 items, 4 magic, 1 rare, 1 pair of magefist (unique).

I'm sure if I'd killed him with the lvl 80 hammerdin I'd have got a scroll of tp and some gold so it seems to be good. Only tested once though. Maybe a good method for SOJ finding.

Sweden is probably 6 or 7 hours in front?

Yeah, 10.24 on the 24-hour clock too. So I guess when I get home tonight it'll be 18.00 here and about 24.00 there. Too late for ya?

Yup, I can give you some starter gear. Don't have too much but I can 'powerlevel' you fast. I may be heading out tonight for beers but that's uncertain. Could definately play saturday. I have an MSN account too.

Maybe you have a character YOU whant to build... In that cse we could start together. I wonder how to build my char btw... A bowazon... One skill I've GOT to have is (geeze, can't remember the skillnames!) Guided arrow. That's 22 skills And I'm either gonna have strafe or multishot (I LOVE starfe, but I've heard you'll die on hell ), so that's either 42 or 41 skillpoints. (Hehe, found the perfect buildsite . http://www.d2items.com/skills.php )
So, I have:
Strafe 20
Guided arrow 20
Magic arrow 1
Multishot 1
cold arrow 1

Let's go to passive:

Since I'm gonna keep my range, the dodgeskills are pretty useless. BUT! I think I'm going for Valkyrie, so I need one in each, which gives a small dodgechance...

Inner sight lvl 20= defence:-815 % ...

New skills are:

Valkyrie 20 (allmost added 230, and yes, it would be nice with a lvl 230 valkyrie )
Dodge/Avoid/evade 1
Inner sight 1
Slow missile 1
decoy 1
Crit strike 11 (starts increasing with only one point at lvl 12...)
Penetrate 1
Pierce 1 (maybe I'll just screw this skill... 23% isn't much, and it's NOT worth it when guided arrow won't pierce...)

So:
Strafe 20
Guided arrow 20
Valkyrie 20
Crittical strike 11
dodge 1
evade 1
avoid 1
inner sight 1
slow missile 1
decoy 1
penetrate 1
Magic arrow 1
Multishot 1
Cold arrow 1
Total 82 skillpoints (around lvl 70 this one's finnished).

Then I'll see what to go for. Maybe some improved dodge (good for both ME and my valkyrie ) or some other valkyrie booster. Decoy increases her life, penetrate her hitting (and my hitting, let's see what I need up there).

As you can see this is FAR from a complete planning, but it will work for a while. Tips?

Sorry to poop on your idea but I don't think that will work too well unless you have a really good bow for hell. Strafe and Guided have a problem in that they do not have any synergies. Most bowazons use freezing arrow these days with pierce. This could be coupled with a buriza for big damage. It works pretty well. You won't have to put many points in pierce too.

Lighning fury 'zons are still pretty formidable. I would get at least a titans' revenge for this character though.

One of the better 'zons I made was a lightning fury/freezing arrow hybrid with synergies for freezing arrow maxed out (cold arrow I think) and 20 points in lightning fury. The rest go into valkyrie.

I can always explain this to you online of course.

*gimpy1 and *gimpy2 are my accounts for whispering too.

@ womble & ube: can i join you on your d2 game? are you going to be playing this weekend? i have the whole weekend free: no work, no date w/ my gf (thank god!lol). so it's pure gaming heaven for me.

thing is, i'm in asia so there's a time difference. just tell me when you're scheduled to play. i'll adjust to your schedules, even if it's 'round midnight here, i'll just stay up late. been awhile since i last played d2 and i got to make my broadband connection worth its price. btw, it's 9:15am here, saturday.

maybe i'll just start a new thread on this so we won't be riding along on kyra's thread. just look for d2: lod game thread. with all due apologies, lady kyra.

have a sunshiny day!
