thanks a lot guys. i haven't really had the chance to log in and play. been a brutal week at the office, terribly busy. so many things to do for the clients. i hardly have the time to even browse this forum. on monday morning i have to be at the office at 8am. working hard for the money. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Origin of the name "Radamant"

Sorry guys, i couldn't join you yesterday btw the next final weekend i'm free to play - i'm thinking about change my barb - a new strategie what i'm creating. I believe it'll be a monster.

One more thing, today i was playing solo a litle and decided to kill Baal - for my surprise he dropped the Shadow Killer(Battle Cestus) Elite for Assassins.

And in the blizzard website said that this weapon is only dropped in ladder games. Now this isn't completely true. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/freak.gif" alt="" />

Good for me now i have the final weapon for assassin.

Fire Paladin strategie

This post of a guy make the mention about the moonfall(weapon) used in the japanese guide is a bug to increase the fire damage:


Hey i remember a guide on this forum for a trang pally, what ever happened to it?
Anyway i made a trang pally and he deals 2500 or so per fireball not counting convictions increase- i decided to only use trangs helm and belt because with meteor and firewall id have to jump to conviction. The secret to so much damage was in that guide, by using the synergy bug you can use a moonfall mace for its lvl 11 meteor syn. which greatly boosts fireball damage along with a ring with firebolt charges. I really have had fun with him and when i left off i think he was lvl 80 or so, and can kill in Hell. The killings a little slow but because your in a conviction pally people in parties love you and using FOH as back up works great.

I believe if we can get the right equipment we can do a nice build here.

Sounds like a great build shyon. I love wacky stuff like this! Maybe I can get the gear together on USeast. I have some decent stuff. A moonfall should be no more than a few pgems to trade for. Equip a 'spirit' shield in the other slot and you should have a powerful fireball.

Spirit shield would be a good one.

I was think about to get too the Dragon armor(at the max lvl give massive strength so we can use a better shield) and Delirium or Dream Helm and get the trang claws and belt(cannot be frozen).

Well the runes for those armours are a little out of my reach atm. My set-up to start with would be:

Helm: harlequin crest
Armour: skin of the vipermagi (fast cast, resists)
Gloves and belt: trang for fireball
rings: hopefully could trade for a few cheap BK rings for +1 skills (3% life leach is worth an UM) but raven frost+dwarf star atm.
Boots: silkweave
shield: 'Spirit' protector shield. I have a beauty I made with about 76% resist all except poison (or something)
Weapon: Moonfall of course. I could get this for a pgem I'm sure.

You forgot something - the ring of firebolts - complement the bug for the fireball power. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

You can do a similar thing to make a fireclaws/rabies druid. The runeword 'stone' has charges of molten bolder. There's a ring which charges up rabies too but I forget the name.....

Maybe you don't need much to find one - if i'm not wrong the ring is crafted. I just don't had the time to read again but i'm following my memory what isn't bad. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
