There is a mage in ars magicana whose name starts with K. In his house there is a room with a magical orb. How can we get in that room? What does that magical orb do?

You pay the guy outside to tell a poem, and then sneak in. The orb does nothing.

You need to jam too!
What I usually do is, loot his room, put his chests in my inventory, and then walk out.

how do i get in that private room to that mage when the singer is gone???

You only get the one chance.
Once the poets gone that’s it.

Unless that room has a door, I don’t remember.

If it has a door you can slide one of your teleporter stones into the room, close the door, and then use the other teleporter stone to portal into the room.
Just remember when your done to pick up the stone in the room and don’t drop it to portal out. You’ll get a dialog saying whatever against doing it, but ignore it and do it anyway.

Most of all save before doing this just in case you mess up.

is it something special there cuz i av heard that the spider is frightening him i did use the statue on me and then he didnt say anything he just ran i attacked and then guards ran after me!!! scaary

Even if you use the spider to chase Kistandalius from his shop (or use the mage's swap places special move repeatedly), he will still detect you trying to enter the back room and teleport you out. If you try to use a teleporter stone to get in, he will teleport you out before you have a chance to pick it up, causing you to loose it (though there are workarounds for that).

The only things of value there are a spell book, and a potentially powerful dagger in the chest. He sells spell books and there are lots of swords around that are better than daggers (even with Assassin's Kiss maxed), so a missed opportunity to get in is not a big deal.

You can kill Kistandalius to get into the back room, but then you can not purchase spell books, charms or jewelry from him. An area effect spell that doe not need a target (such as Poison Cloud) can be used to kill him without causing a reputation drop (cast it near but not directly on an NPC). Some NPCs are protected, and can not be killed.
