that a big task because the page file is an extension of the memory on your hard disk. It would be like clearing your memory when your PC in running. I think the only way to clear the page file is on every reboot. Other options don't jump to mind but let me check my connections.

Just a sort of error, about Splinter Cell, don't want to go on offical forums.
I try to go into an elevator and press' up' and it crashes and says "general protection error" and every time I do this it happens.
The splinter cell site suppourt sucks, and when I try to install patch it says version number not found!!!

I installed it a while ago, and this is on maybe the 5th level, I'd really like not to go through it all again.

You should be able to keep your saved games. E-mail me a copy of your DxDiag.txt and I'll see if there are any potential hardware problems. Click Start/Run...Type dxdiag and click OK. Click Save All Information and save it somewhere easily accessable, such as the Desktop. E-mail the file to hand_e_food@hotmail.com

Mea, are u on WinXP? can't help u (sorry!) in thar case. but i know in Win9x, u can sort of disable paging in favour of maximising the use of the physical memory (RAM). this is only good if u have 256MB or more.
wish i can help more.

Who can answer me this...
Just bought a new motherboard agp x8 and Graphics card, geforce thingy agp x8
Every thing is up and running now expect the AGP port. It's in PCI mode.
The direct X dialog says that AGP is not available.
I've installed the AGP drivers that came with the card.
Card and motherboard are full compatible (from same vendor).
Is it something in the BIOS that I need to do to enable AGP?

[color:"orange"] Is it something in the BIOS that I need to do to enable AGP? [/color]
For sure i know that it is able to set the speed of the AGP Port in the BIOS. But to change betwen PCI and AGP i don`t know. But this is not difficult to find out. Just look in your BIOS if you start your PC. In every Bios exist an option to set the BIOS on the default settings, so you cant really make a mistake.
