I have a question about Google,

When type a keyword to search for something, the next time you come back it will be displayed in a list, with other things you once searched for, so you don't have to type it again.

Does anyone know how i can remove this feature?

Yes, if you use Firefox,
you need to open your "extra's", then go to "options", you will see a menu, open the second page, after "history", there you can save or unsave the words you typed in Google.
In that whole menu, you're able to keep your passwords, history and cookies and more of the things you can change to make your pc more discrete.

If you use Internet Explorer, you also need to look into the internet options.

You go to firefox.com and download their client. And then you forget about IE .

Especially when we're talking the change from IE to FF . Download it and try it out . You can still use IE if you don't like it. Apart from that I can add that FF is kind of like IE with tabs (and without the securityleeks ), so it's no big differenc.

Well, leaks is exaggregateing it. But most viruses are made for IE, since it's the most common browser .

MSN isn't working properlly for either me or my brother (same errormessage and all). I've tried all the sollutions but one, which is to decrease the MTU for our router to 1400 (seems like a reasonable sollution since both me and my brother got the exact same problem at the exact same time). The problem is that I go to the site for our 3com router and look around, and nowhere I can see the MTU-rateing, and changeing it is for that case quite difficult. Any suggestions on what I can do? Not being able to access MSN is kind of a drag (especially for my brother whose main mailadress (for school too) is his hotmail, which he can't access either).

Errorcode varies. Currently it's 80072efd.

hmm if I am not wrong (and god knows I am a lot) I seem to remember that you change the MTU's from inside windows, maybe you and your brother have installed an intenet tweak program that speeds up connections ?

In any case, before you try anything like the following make a RESTORE POINT And go into Regedit Make a BACK_UP of your reg file, and search regedit for MTU ?

Possible if L_R wasn't so busy with her wedding she would be a way better help, if all else fails tell very loudly for Raze he would know

The thing is we havn't changed anything. It suddenlly stopped working for no real reason . And me and my brother handles our computers separately, with no interference at all, so it seems pretty likelly the router have somehow collided with it. Though I'd probablly try anything...

*hunts for a solution* moment.... will edit soon

Edit: Soon after

i am taking the easy route now.... pasting the best links i found...

MSN service corrupt
just a note on this one....

check that your router IP appear in your DNS list (in tcp/ip properties) if you are not running DHCP. even if you are running dhcp, this can help overcome a lot of problems.

If you have done any recent windows updates.
Check your internet explorer security settings... and set it to medium (see if that helps - sometimes the updates makes things more secure, without regards to the sign-in pages that gets affected... - and YEA i know its a microsoft site.... this has happened before where microsoft updates sets the security too high for its OWN sites.

Another thing you can try... is to restart the MSN service (in administrator tools > services)....

let me know if any of this helps...

It seems to have been a server who was down unusually long, that's all . It works fine now.

And thanks for the help anyway .
