I thought I'd post a link to a xbox 360 site, for anyone interested in taking a peek. You have to wonder how the other consoles are going to compete with it. The graphics are just staggering, even beyond what the PC is currently doing... Amazing ! !

Looked at the elder scrolls screen shots...

While they do look amazing, most of the shots I see are the exact same ones that were released for the PC a while back. So are they XBox 360 shots?

I'd have to see them moving to be really impressed - they look too 'shiny'.

Also, the price of the xbox is 400 quid, and there's a rubbish "better offer" of 300 quid but no one with a brain would buy that one as it has no hard drive.

Edit
Found a trailer for ES IV, does indeed look very nice.

They're selling for £280 with 20gb harddrives and !Live.

When you consider that £280 is the price of a decent graphics card, it isn't that dear at all. I haven't seen any PC versions of these games that look this good, with the exception of tiger woods, which I expect to be similar.

I forgot to mention the price I said was in dollars, and that converts to almost one dollar for one euro.

Sterling, that converts to 413.393 euros, which is (obviously) over the 399 euro mark. And knowing game, they'll convert exactly, and add a bit on, so it'll cost 415 or 420 euro here when it's released.

But I agree that even then it's good because like you say a decent G -card would cost that, and then you have all the other pc concerns like the processor etc.

I'm a big fan of the Xbox, and I hope most of my games would still be compatible if I decide to get this new version. Which I may do if the elder scrolls game is as good as it looks.

EDIT - checked the euro price that it will sell for in Ireland

"A more expensive version costing €409.99 will include a 20GB hard drive, wireless controller, headset and remote control."

I'm afraid that the compatability between xbox and xb360 is a little confusing. They say that selected titles will be compatable, and no one knows what that means

Personally, I think it means that every xbox game released now (or in the recent past) will be compatable. Microsoft always make the mistake of incompatablility, every time the release anything.

Besides, the hackers might release an xbox emulator for the xbox 360
