As for this mornings shower, i lost my patience and ended up quickly pushing all the bubbles up to the end of the shower where the water lands with my feet, to extinguish the life from the blighters, Mwah-ha-ha-ha

In this case, as Bean suggested - holy water should do

I knew I was a freak. You said it already, you can't take it back with a 'Just Kidding'. It's all out in the open....

And has anyone noticed this obsession of mine that is only for this forum site?

In every post I must have at least one emotion. I'm not just talking by habit, I'll really put one after I'm done if I haven't yet. Not too obsessive but its there.

another would be walking on tiles, which i would make sure i step on unbroken ones (not related to superstition).

I do this too sometimes, I allso avoid the spaces between the tiles. This comes from my childhood .

@ Spick: Why?

I do something similar to avoiding cracks in tiles. On patterned floors, I always make sure I walk an even amount of steps with each foot on each color of tile. No half-halfs are allowed for me.

And, believe it or not, I can actually feel when I don't step according to my little pattern, even if I'm not looking. For example, if I step on the seperation between blue tiles and red tiles, one half of my foot will feel uncomfortable.

Hows that for obsessive and weird?

Every time I leave home, I feel I have forgotten something.

And most of the time it is true .

I always crack some joints, neck, wrists, fingers. altho its not as bad as poeple say, just airbubbles popping it's probably very anyoing for others.

Hehehe I love that too. The best is with the toes...

And for fears like arachnofobia, feelings someone's presence when either going home or staying in it etc. You will have to face it, to deal with it step by step, with small victories, you will finally win.

Yeah, its a lot about training and self control, conciousness. We can get rid of a lot of reflexes and instincts like that; even increase a lot our endurance to pain. One interesting experience is when it's itching somewhere; when we focus on the senstion, concentrate in understanding, defining it (stopping to think about getting rid of it by scratching), it stops to be bothersome (even after we stopped to concentrate on it!). The same thing works with pain too (but personally, if I see the injury, it most always fails; so I have to avoid seeing it ).

OCDs... The girl has some; mostly post traumatic ones.
That comes from a period where I was hospitalized. The most particular is about morning time: I do NOT want to take any phonecall neither recieve any people before at least a couple hours after waking up. I also developped an allergy to extroverted people and to the question "How are you?" in the morning (before I finished my coffee, I don't go fine or wrong yet; it's at that point that it's deciding). In hospitals, too much people don't bother themselves with some aspects of respect that we take for granted in everyday life; not announcing themselves before entering our private space, coming at any time no matter what you're doing and how/if you're dressed (and there is a LOT of people passing by, night and day as well), etc... Another one is a bit similar to Spick's; except that for me it's about toilets. It's unbelievable how much some hospital personnel don't bother about getting rid of people's "fluids"... For me a toilet has to be clean & clear when I leave it; I'll flush & wash as long as it'll be stained or messy. People letting dirty toilets make me angry and I hate toilets with quite no pressure when we flush them... I think it's a bit like people who starved during some long period of time and are getting mad about spoiling food; some are even not able to go to restaurants because of that.
These are the biggest ones, I think; I'm slowly getting less sensible to it though.

I don't know if this qualifies as an OCD:

Today I was standing in a line at EBGames waiting to buy Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
The salesman approached me and asked if I want the collector's edition. I asked if there was anything special about it and he replied that no, only the cover is different. When asked about the price difference, he answered it was 5 dollars. I laughed inside thinking that only a complete moron, a desperate Splinter Cell fanboy would pay 5 bucks for a different cover. At the same time, I said that I do want the collector's edition. There was alot of noise in the store so he probably didn't hear me and I ended up paying for the reg edition. I felt disappointed eventhough I knew it was the right thing and thanked God I didn't buy the CE.

Sometimes I just don't understand myself.

The funny thing about you is that you sometimes own yourself ! Take it as a compliment, please, I know what you're like when you're irritated ...
