ok ok. I think that the game should stay in the same area. Keep some of the same characters if it isn't too far into the future. but i would not have the start of the game in Aleroth again. that would be too much like Divine Divinity. Starting somewhere else, like Verdistis, would be cool.

a bigger gameworld, though te same, just a certain place became accasseble and after that there are maybe new races, new towns and much more + and freedom like DD had, i cant say that enough

Good thoughts. Though I don't think the are should stay entirely the same, that would be too repetetive. (Some) 'old' plus lots of new areas would be great.

keep the large world ( Rivellon & Dark Forest & Verdistis )

keep the humor

keep the music

keep the speed difference between different enemies

keep the royal castle ( also for the looks in 3D )

keep the search for armour sets

How will I laugh tomorrow, when I can't even smile today...

I think this has been said before, but i will say it again. more armor sets, five or six, would make the game quite interesting. sure add a new area onto the current. i just think that it would be fun to see the same area after all of that destruction has come to an end. and the game has to be set into the future a ways because the baby has to get older somehow. (unless it grows up in seconds due to elven magic).

The more the merrier Anyway, you're quite right, that would be great. Each one with a different look.

add guilds/factions/gangs! and then you could fight with your gang against others!(and it would be a great thing to do online)
and then you could also have quests you can only have if your in a certain guild.
DD already had some guilds but it wasnt that fun was it? wow the merchant guy! like how cool is that?(sarcastic)

Let's not petition for a complete Guild Wars rip-off...

never played guildwars, but just kinda like morrowind. but not totaly the same ofcours. like a mageguild, a wariorsguild, thievesguild, .... all with quests to get higher in rank. and some extra skills to gain. like if you get to the top of the warriorsguild you get a skillpoint you can put in: spear-skill or swordskill or shieldskill or in bowskill,....

I know Morrowind well and a Warriors/Mages/Thieves Guild might be nice indeed. Though I did like the fact that in Divine Divinity you had a 'neutral' guild everyone could join.

The armour set things should be rare in my opinion..thats why i dont mind 3-5(depending on class) sets but thats it.
So fighters set could be breastplate,2 handed weapon and helmet.
Theif could have dagger, ring and belt and boots
Ranger- Bow,gloves and boots
Wizard...robes,staff and 2 rings.

Becuase we also have a number of unique rings and stuff(like boots of the vampire) then we dont need too may set items.

Guilds have been mentioned but i dont like the "restictive" parts of it..that is..if you join one guild that means you have to fight against rival guilds.

Maybe you can ony join a partiuclar guild if your stats are high enough..say 25 stat points in strength or something or fufill a minor quest to alow you to join!!

Another thing I'd like to see again is the way the diary is handled. You can easily look up what quests you have yet to solve. I'm playing Baldur's Gate II again at the moment and that's when you notice just how good the Divine Divinity diary is.

The item interaction should be the same....though there could be a few more items.

I would keep the diary.
