I would say... no. I think Cain is a copywritten character and cannot be in any other games unless they get permission from Blizzard. I don't think that Larian would want to put Cain in the game even if they could.

Who's Cain? (I never played Diablo II.) *Braces himself for pie-throwing in his general direction*

I think you are right about that, and doubt he is in DD, especially since this is the only topic in the DD forum that mentions 'Cain'. However, I don't think a reference to a copyrighted character would violate that copyright. AFAIK they would have to use him in a major or defamatory way to run into legal problems. There are lots of references to other characters, games and books in both DD and BD.

There are 3 quests you can do which will give you an invitation to the castle. However, there is no need to rush to get in; the area after that can be tough at lower levels. I did the majority of quests in Rivertown and Verdistis and cleared the Rivertown sewers before heading to the castle.

No rush indeed. A higher level is required as Raze said, and on top of that, once you get in the castle, you'll find out soon enough that life in a palace isn't always as great as it might seem...

I went to the castle when i was lvl 7 and i used scorion traps to go throgh the dungeon. But you have to get 15-20 of them. You can get some from the marketplace area from Tingalf. ask so to tell you exactly where its i have to go now.

You got through the dungeons with a seventh level character? That's quite a feat I should say.

well it is possible to do hard areas at very low levels if you have enough money for lots of scorpion traps...they simply do all the killing so all you have to do is find your way <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
