Nope played the "original Bard's Tale" years ago and what I have read so far it aint even close to being that good ..... as for time, well it took me 4 weeks playing about 3-4 hours a night, meantime I shall continue with Oblivion and as always (on the other PC) Neverwinter Nights

I got this game on its release date, and I never had any of the crashes that many other people were facing. The only problem I had occured when the power went out, and my quest log got pooched. They have a workaround for it at the Titan Quest forums. If you go to www.titanquestvault.com you can find lots of goodies for this game. Even though the current patch level is at 1.20, I am keeping mine at 1.15. The changes that they made for the loot drops were annoying, and there weren't any issues that I had that required me to update to 1.20. I played a female Conqueror(a Warrior/Defender blend), and I played straight until the end of Legendary Egypt. I am sure that I will play it again once the official expansion, Immortal Throne, comes out. It really is a fun game.

Finished it myself recently and like you say "It really is a fun game." Once i got my drivers changed to the omega drivers i too had no problems at all BUT i did keep right up to date with the patches and didn't see any glitches! What glitches are they and what sort of goodies are freely available?

Hello spick!
There are a lot of user-made Mods, with both new items and/or content. Some of them are pretty good, but some of them are just minor(e.g. Look at the neato sword!).
Are you directing the "glitch" part at me, or at someone else? If it is me, then the glitch would be that if the power went out, or the game crashed, then the quest files would get corrupted. Since they are on a different folder than every other part of the game, nothing else was affected. Your character(with all the items and stats intact), the Teleport areas opened, and last fountain visited, were all intact. The way to get around this is to go into the folder(which I cannot recall offhand, but I know that they mention it as a sticky over there) and copy over the quest files from a time before the "incident" occured.
Just make sure that you make a back-up folder of the quest files for two reasons.
1. You might copy over a file too far, and you would have to walk all of that distance again.
2. The more you copy the files over into the backup folder, the easier it is to make sure that you don't have to do parts of the game over in case of catastrophe.
Sorry if I am not making a whole lot of sense. It has been a fair while since I've played.
What is the hardest creature that you've faced so far?
