I pretty much doubt it. Divinity 2 requires a Shader 3.0 compatible card.

but wait...

Doest the Display memory 256 mean its a 3.0 shader? cause 128 is a 2.0 shader....

No, that is the amount of memory the card has. Which has nothing to do with the shader version. Your card, as far as I remember, does not even support shader 2.0b, let alone 3.0. The ship is the same that was already used by the radeon 9600er series that came out ages ago.

As was already said, your card only has access to shader 2.0 and since D2 requires 3.0, i wouldnt buy the game since its very likely it wont run.

You can go to this page at your own risk and try the "workaround" for shader 2.0

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_I_emulate_pixel_shader_3.0_when_my_card_only_supports_2.0

But, even if you can make the game run, it'll run very, very slow.

Good luck

Divinity II System Requirements

Gamestar Review-Box Translation - near the end of the topic is a chart from GameStar.de with various CPU/GPU/RAM options, and how they would expect the game to run on that system (see the reply for a translation).

A video card upgrade and perhaps another GB of RAM might get the game running, though I'm not sure how much the CPU being low would hurt performance. I doubt the CPU is upgradeable (if the motherboard supports anything faster it would probably be hard to find or fairly expensive, if not it would probably make more sense to get a new system than upgrade your current one).

There may be a demo available sometime after the game is released, that you can test your system with.

Both video card and CPU don't meet the requirements. An ATI card needs to be at least of the X series, and your processor should be dual core...

Again, check chart:

You are in the yellow zone i guess, 1024x768 with minimum detail settings, the graphic card is realy holding you back.

Putting 1gb ram more, with a radeon 3870 its a very very cheap upgrade and would do wonders.

Well, it should run, the question is how fast... The ram should be enough when you end all not absolutely necessary tasks and services before playing. If your cpu doesn't run the game with acceptable speed, a little overclocking should do the trick. The problem is your video card which is very slow. Lowest resolution and details and the game might run somehow. Just don't expect it to look nice or to run with acceptable speed....

Hmmmmm....I am lacking basically the double-core requirement. I've been able to get some double-core games running on my PC -- i.e. Prince of Persia (2008); Assassin's Creed; Saints Row 2.

My PC:
--Win XP Home
--Pentium 4 single-core 3.2 Ghz processor w/ Hyper-Threading
--512 MB of GeForce 8800 GT (DDR3 RAM)
--2 GB DDR2 RAM

Hmmmm....I wonder how the heck it'd run on my rig, when the game drops in the USA.
Probably....on LOW to a few settings maybe on Medium?

EDIT:
What's the lowest resolution supported by this game?
800x600?
1024x768?
