You should know.
Try local retailers.
Have you ever bought a game before.
Your Location would help!

Mainly every game is $59.99 US.

Some aren't, but most are, and this is no exception.

My Favorite RPGs: Divinity franchise, Gothic franchise (including Arcania, so I think I'm alone...), Venetica, Risen, Two Worlds II, The Witcher, Sacred franchise, Fallout franchise, Mass Effect 1, Alpha Protocol, Planescape: Torment, Drakensang, KOTOR 1 & 2, etc.

Sadly no. Prices are everywhere the same. Maybe 5 to 10 $ plus or minus...
That's the problem because in some countries (ok, im many countries) 60$ is a lot.

In Canada it is CAN$60 for the Xbox version, $50 for PC. I have not seen any variation in price or any pre-order bonuses (other than the Xbox version at Gamestop).

So, in Spain games are cheaper or more expensive?
Everywhere is almost the same price. (at least first year of selling)

See Unreals Post.
Also Spain use different currency.
So say If he was spain there would be no point saying $59 when they use Euros.

I was just saying 60$ because someone above mentioned it's standard price for every new game (which is true).
Dollars, Euros, jens... it doesn't matter, it comes to same.
@Unreal: hehe, I wanna buy it for that price too grin

Woohoo! Quoting pyramid!

Well actually no it's not.

Most games in the UK are £40-£45 brand new. Anything remotely good like Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2 etc, is definitely at the £45 mark. Only the average titles generally sit at the £40 mark or lower unless a game is on sale.

$60 is £37.50 (conversion rates can vary).

Then you have to take into account the different sales that each site/store has.

In general you can't compare the prices in one country to the prices in another. One because currency rates are always changing, two because store sales don't allow it to be accurate.

Games in Australia are $AU99-$AU109 Brand new, usually $AU119 for special editions.

Even with currency conversion rates, we end up on the more expensive end unfortunately.
