Kordoba's way to duplicate and retrieve items/money, a cheat
First go to your latest savegame and drop on the ground everthing you do not want to lose(from inventory and Equipment) Quest items for sure. Do not drop your Pyramids on the ground and also make sure both pyramids are in your inventory. Drop your money too . Now save this as a test savegame. (just in case)

Now go back to a savegame where you do have the item you lost. eg. explosive keg. Now go to your savegame folders and copy all 6 INV items from your old savegame and copy and paste them into your testing savegame.

Now when you reload, your old savegame inventory will be in your new game. and all your good stuff will still be on the ground.

Other things to note before making this transfer.
-Make sure you have 2 pyramids in inventory in both savegames.
-Make sure you don't have duplicate quest items on the ground so that when you make the transfer you don't have 2 of something, it may not hurt but I don't know what will happen.
-Make sure you use different saves from this point for a while because also I don't know whats gonna happen

NOW READ ON IF YOU WANT THE CHEAT OF THE CENTURY****************
Warning this could get ugly!

Now if you already havn't figured this out, you can obviously make lots of duplicates of everything you own in this fassion. eg. you have 100000 gold. Drop your gold or whatever on the ground and make a second save, go to your folders and copy inventories, now when you reload you will have 100000 gold on the ground and 100000 gold in your inventory. Sounds sweet huh? well let me know if it works because i never tried it and I'm not going to because I don't cheat. I only fix things I was shafted out of!

Ok Ive done a little Testing and the Keg was a 100% Sucess and I'd recomend anyone to try this out thats lost theirs, its worth it because it not only sets your mind at ease that you completed the quests but the two sabatage missions are worth over 70000 xp
If anyone wants their explosive keg back but do not have a prior save with the keg I can send them my INV files with nothing but the Keg in the Inventory. Alls you would have to do is drop all your items before overwriting the INV files and pick them up again after.

Save before trying, then steal everything of value that isn't nailed down. Repair items before trading, try to buy stuff with loot rather than gold, pick up all drops to sell. Buy ale from Rimmer in the dwarven village for 5 gold, and sell it for 50. Have you been to Ars Magicana yet? You can buy mage spell books; cast Resurrect on a monster that always drops something, run away so he turns hostile, then return and kill him repeatedly. At higher levels you could use Heaven's Gift. I never had any problems with money.

If you don't mind cheating, this is safer than the inventory trick. Drag a stack of gold out of your inventory, hold the control key down and drop. When the split items pane comes up, put in a negative number and hit the enter key.
For non-stackable items, you can quick save, drag an item out of your inventory (but do not drop), then quick load and release the mouse button. When the game loads, the original item will be in your inventory, with a duplicate on the ground.

If you want my advice, don't cheat. It'll completely ruin the game for you.

If you want money, you should rob rich people. Nah, you don't need the pickpocket skill, you want to rob their houses instead. Rich people don't carry around anything of much value anyway. The most valuable stuff is in their house. Only thing you have to make sure is that they don't see you stealing anything. Use shadow potions, or hiding skills, they help...

Try and steal weapons and armour, and sell them for money.

Places to look for stealing:

-Stormfist castle armoury.
-Sir Dante's house (not sure if he has much)
-Verdistis Town Watch Armoury.
-Rivertown barracks. (When you ask General Alexis, or whats her name, for weapons, she'll give you access to the armoury. Make good use of this, and steal everything :P)
-Deserted Imp Castle underground treasure room. (Guarded by very strong enemies I'm afraid)
-Rivertown Sewers (south-east there is treasure. You need telekinesis to reach it though. Or just drop your pyramid in there.)
-Verdistis Sewers (You can find 10000 gold in there)

----------------------------

Then, here's a tip: Always sell your goods to Geoff in Ars Magicana, he always carries around 50000 gold. And try to be friendly to him. This won't get you extra cash, but he'll lower his prices a bit.

And another tip: Sell minor and small charms, don't use them. They're not worth it, especially because once you use one, it's permanent. Rather you use a silver or gold charm instead.

Tovi May Raan refresh you!
