That error is generally associated with file corruption (ie a broken download, etc).
Try uninstalling the game, reboot, shut down all non-essential programs (especially anti-virus, or anything that might want to monitor your optical drive), then install the game again, as well as the
patch.
You should also check the DVD for any scratches, fingerprints or dust that may have cause a problem reading from it. If you get another error, you may want to try installing from a different optical drive, if you have more than one.
and i really want to get playing on this game coz so many of my friends say the game is better than oblivion so i wanna try it out... so can any1 plz help me?
