Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Technical problems Major Lighting issue

Hi, i just bought and installed "Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis".

In gameplay i always encounter Light and Shadow pillars everywhere greatly reducing the gaming experience and blocking line of sight.

I'running on Windows 7
My Video Card is an "AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200"

I've installed the 1.03 update but it didn't change a thing.

I also tried running the game using "Windows XP Service 2 pack" but the game just crashed on startup before the splash screens

Can anyone help me get this right ?

Try running the game as administrator, and in the compatibility options disable desktop composition (in Vista/7).

Did you go through the graphics options and try making changes (ie disable HDR lighting) to see if something would help? Someone mentioned disabling the option to "render shaft lights" to get rid of the bloom effect; it sounds like that could be what your system is having a problem with.

Did you check ATI's site for updated drivers?
