In Maxos Temple, I found a "Formula of Advanced Spontaneous Combustion" in the large treasure chest in the library. The issue is that it says it is a "weapon" enchant formula, NOT jewelry.

I've re-checked the contents of the chest several times so far, and all other formulas are for the correct item type. But all spontaneous combustion formulas say they are for weapons. No other formula or chest has given this problem before (and I tend to save before each chest and re-check untll I like the result).

Will this cause any problems if I keep it and turn it in to an enchanter? Or should I keep a save from before picking it up just in case?

EDIT: Right, I forgot. I'm playing on the US Xbox 360 version, patched with all available updates from Xbox Live.

This sounds familiar; I think I noticed that as well. I didn't have any problem adding a spontaneous combustion formula to jewelry, so it is probably just a cosmetic problem with the description. You could always save and go check the enchanter right away; in the unlikely event there is a problem, you can reload a save before picking it up.

Ah, good point. I didn't think that maybe it was just a general problem with all formulas of that type. I usually refuse to accept enchantment formulas since equipment disenchanting is easier and if I find an item with one I need, I can resell it for good money.
