I was wondering if it is possible to get to max level at the end of the first game if you mindread every NPC during the course of the game that you come across, or will the experience deficit be too high? At the moment I am constantly reading people's minds, and if they don't seem to have any valuable information, I just reload a previous save; doing this constantly kind of distracts from the fun, and is a bit of a chore instead.

I mindread everybody, and ended the game in the 40s, there are plenty of respawns in caves and such for extra XP though, aren't there?

The critters respawn? Thats good to know, now I can read minds with wild abandon. Thank You!

I made sure I had maxed out Mindread before starting FOV. 15 mindread = 0 xp cost.

Lovis' pendant is handy too, since it gives +2 to mindread.

I ended up maxing mindread after FoV when I noticed mindreads started costing 25k exp.

You get plenty of skill points during FoV to max out either mindread or whatever else you want, anyway.
