Hey guys,

(i'm new here)

Anyway i was playing D2 and i came across some black army scouts or whatever they are called & they had this big ball of fire with them wich had tentacles, when i tried to approach it a voice said "i wouldn't get close to that if i were you"...
there seems to be a pentagram/book near... and i don't dare approaching it...

What happens if u get close?
Any info on this?

It was near the mines that i found this (i'm lvl 11)

greetings

Ignore the voice. Use the book.

Remember you can always save before trying something for the first time. If you don't like the outcome, reload and do something else. smile

And if life were a horror movie, you'd never take a shower. So take a leap smile

Approaching it does nothing in and of itself. When you read the book, it summons a couple enemies. Read the book, kill the enemy, read it again, rinse and repeat until you get to the final enemy and you get a pretty nice reward from what I remember.

You make it sound like all gamers have bad hygiene grin

ForkTong's comment has nothing to do with hygiene. He's referring to the Alfred Hitchcock classic "Psycho!"
Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles, 1960

I'd like to close by quoting Bellegar's famous last rhyme:

"Cursed be the mother that bred thee!
The wench must have been a hell-spawned banshee!"

Shaver, naturally. And even if it wasn't a direct reference it has become a common trope in the horror genre. Obviously my joke went unappreciated :P
