There's a chest that isn't openable by lockpicking across from luxurious's double-light spa (w/little button in back of spa). Where's the key, or how does it open?

Tnx!

For that matter, how do I get through the force field in his house quarters? Sigh....no clues that I can find...

Thanks!

For the chest, I hear you must convince the guy who gave you this quest to cut his finger off so you can waltz in the front door of the mansion.

For the forcefield, there is a button on the wall-side of the fountain in the haremy room that changes the lights, which will then highlight additional buttons which ultimately shut the forcefield off.

Oh...I toggled the light in the harem room, but don't remember any additional buttons...

Hmmm...will have to check that again...

Can you get into the mansion any other way? Didn't have Tom cut off his finger!

Oh c'mon hon! We've been chopping heads off, mutilating every appendage, stiching blades for the forarms, you name it... and you think cutting 2 joints of his finger is sick??? Have you seen what your necromancer's floor looks like lately?

It's better for us to get these things off our chests in a video game, rather than giving our boyfriends what they really deserve <wink wink>

Oh btw, did you talk Anne into leaving Tom? I did hehe! cheer

The only other way is to go through the sewer enterance in Taurus' home. If you remember, Taurus is his right-hand man and he has access to the private chambers (peeping tom I guess)

I did it the way Shaver said (letting Tom keep his fingers), so I couldn't get to the chest, only the barrier.

But I did break up the happy couple (after getting my reward from Tom of course) wink

I need help with this quest please. I've tried talking to Tom again, but it doesn't give me an option to convince him to cut his finger off, and I tried going through the sewer in Taurus' house but apparently you need a key to get into the private chambers, which I can't seem to locate. Can someone please tell me what to do now? Thank you in advance for all of your help.

Never mind, I eventually figured it out......lol.

Tom will only cut off his finger in the first encounter with him in the Crow's Nest. The reward is better the other way, anyway.
