I'm level 6, ennemy goblin is level 1. I enchant him (not sure the name in english ... the priest spell that makes ennemy turn against its friends for some time). When the spell wears off and he becomes again an ennemy and my creature kills him I get 0 xp.
When I directly kill a level 1 goblin I get 1xp.
Imarion PS: 1 xp is nothing but I wonder for later in the game.
I've noticed that using 'charm' on enemies reduces the XP gained from killing that enemy. I believe I've also read that somewhere, though I'm not sure where, either the game pressure guide or the manual.
Reality is but a shadow of one's imagination, is it not?
XP depends on how much damage you did to killing an enemy. If you only did 50% of the damage, you only get 50% of the XP for the kill. Your summons and creature of course count as 'damage you do'.
But because in this case the Goblin was charmed, he received damage from the other goblins. Thus the XP gets shared between you and the goblins that hurt your charmed goblin.
