Yo.... i just downloaded Divinity The Dragon Knight Saga... it works on 30 FPS... i downloaded the patch, but nothing changed... ther is a link to topic thet sopose to fix the problem - but actualy the post removed :O my system detials : 3GRAM 450GTS I5 650
im so sick to play this game.. some one plz help? oh.. and sorry for my english -_-"
With the second patch the option to change or remove the FPS limit should by included in the game options somewhere, so you shouldn't need the manual instructions (to edit a configuration file).
mm.. i downloaded the second patch .. i mean the newset patch .... i cant do somthing about the FPS limit.. i tried at Options->graphic... but there is nothing about the fps there..
I don't have the PC version of DKS, so I'm not sure where the option should be. Is there an 'advanced' option menu somewhere? Did you look through the rest of the option categories? You can try emailing support@larian.com, though it is evening there now, and you probably wouldn't get a reply before tomorrow.
Hopefully someone with the PC version will respond to this...
I have the Steam version so my game is automatically updated to the most recent patch, but make sure you have the most recent one (as you said you did). In the graphics options there should be a checkbox for "show advanced settings" or something like that. If you click that you will get a longer list of options and the one all the way at the bottom is a slider that allows you to set your maximum fps.
hm.... im pretty sure thets the problem is becuze i have no conection to the internet in the computer thet i installd the divinity.. but , if its not the problem - what shold be the name of the slide bar?
Well I don't own the retail version so I am not sure that it came with the patch that lifted the fps cap. I don't know the name of the slide bar but if it was there you would definitely notice it. You need to somehow get ahold of Patch #2.
If you can't get that patch I think there was an .xml file edit you could do but I am at work and cannot search any sites that would have that. You could try googling it.
