Since this game is set during the time of Maxos (long before any Divinity game to date), we'll probably get to see Elves, Orcs and Dwarves again. I'm hoping we one day get to see them again in the sequel to Divinity 2 as well.

And do not forget Lizard People! I wolud like to see them in DC.

I do wonder right now whether there'll be ground battles at all ...

Ground battles = standard in every strategy game

Air battles - still unique (Homeworld !)

and personalized teritoryes/buildings
For example:Elves more trees,grass,much green
orc wastelands,special buildings
dwarves mines,mountain homelands etc :P

From reading the press coverage the game will feature Dwarves at least.

Alrik - RPG watch stated that there is no ground combat in the game yet but it will be added at a later stage... which is great!

I wouldn't mind seeing elves so long as they fall out of the "elves are all short" stereotype lol.

In Divine Divinity elves were the same height as humans.

Well I think it would be nice to see all the old races back in Rivellon

There might actually be Raanaar as well. I thought I saw one in one of the Gametrailers videos. Perhaps there will be even more exotic creatures from other dimensions as well.

That would be awesome... Well at least they got elves right XD I won't have to feel like a midget talking to peoples chests like I do in a different RPG. I wouldn't mind seeing Drow either... or being one. Yeah who knows there might be a world of different races.

Well all I can say is that this game had better be released for the Xbox
