Hi, relatively new so here goes:
There is a room in the Verdistis sewer I can't seem to get into. Two barred gates which don't have "locked" or anything. I can see treasure chests and a red dot of a future victim but I can't get in!! Am I supposed to? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

There is one way to enter this room. Use your teleporter stones. You can throw one into the room and left the other in the front (or somewhere else).

You can also open the treasure chests with telekinesis.

or u can use mages special move if your victim is in your eye sight and if u are a mage

Though I have to wonder why there isn't a swith etc for it, maybe to learn to use the stones??

Hi,I truly hope you haven't croaked yet ! There are 2 ways into this area , by tossing the portal stone in and then useing the other to portal in [may take a couple of tries so save 1st.]Or telekinesis [you must be able to see the chests] PLEASE SAVE 1ST!! I's no fun to end up croaking. HOP CROAK,HOP CROAK.

Well it worked, the stones I mean. There was some angry lizard mage though..was that the warning or was it the green swirling gas that came out of the third chest??? Nothing happened either way though I had to hot foot it for a while..

You were lucky and had a spiritual res. above 10, otherwise the fog would have turned you into a frog. Do you see it on the pic?

It's never happened to me; but, there have been reports that if your 'spirit' (I think) resistance is too low you may end up turning into a frog. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

But I kinda like being frog! I always keep a frog statuette with me.
Frog mode is FAST!!! I don't like the slow crawl speed and the distance from my 'house' to the portal in Verdistis. So I always turned frog and hopped there!

No, Recnam, I wasn't lvl 1 in human form: I changed to lvl 1 as a frog. There's another polymorph bug in the sewers as well: you turn into a bunny and both mean: RELOAD. I marked both traps on the map, so to warn others.

Took me a few games to find them, neglecting my spir. res., cause I normally try to set it high very quickly.

Know all about the frog one[I did turn into one]But a bunny one? Never heard of it, where's it at!I guess this game likes to keep you hopping one way or the other.
