Hi,

As a Mac user, I am new to Divinity. This game looks AMAZING!!

Question though: What is gameplay though? Looks like a combination of third person shooter, but also commanding a fleet?

Of the two styles I've just described I have played a ton of third person action and rpg games, but am not familiar with the second style I awkwardly mentioned.

Can anyone help me get an idea? And I'm assuming there will be more gameplay videos soon??

Thanks in advance for any help!

Divinity: Original Sin is a traditional isometric RPG, with turn based combat, where you control a party playing single player or co-op multi-player.

Dragon Commander is a combination of RPG (in your command ship), turn based board game style strategy (when you are assigning troop movements, etc, before battle) and real time strategy / action combat. During combat you can zoom out to an overview of the battlefield and direct your troops as in a traditional real time strategy game, give orders while you are flying around as a dragon, or leave your troops to their AI controls and focus on combat as a dragon.

There should be more videos coming.

Thanks! I should have actually posted this in Dragon Commander forum.

One more question: Will the game run on Mac OS X 10.6.8? Are there minimum system requirements somewhere? I have a fairly recent 2.8 GHz core 2 duo iMac.

Thanks again!

No detailed system requirements have been mentioned yet, just PC / Mac.

Someone move the thread then, please.

If Dragon Commander was turn-based (at least with the map overview), it would be heaven for me. wink
